WOW!!!!!! Facinating photos. I’ve been very interested in Chernobyl since the meltdown. I would love to be able to take photos but it’s still to radioactive for humans. I guess these were taken by drones or before the meltdown.
I’ve been very interested in Pripyat since 1986. Such an interesting place. G
What’s the attraction to Pripyat? Or is that the name of the city?
Pripyat is the city that was built for the workers of Chinobyl.
No doubt it melted down too.
Chernobyl
Absolutely fascinating, thank you!
This claw looks mean! I find abandoned places fascinating too…they have a haunted sad vibe, I would like to visit Chernobyl!
I would have liked to have been there in the mid 90s. But the security was very tight then. G
I read a book about abandoned places and how they are reclaimed by animals, this place is thriving with wolves, bears, foxes, deer just not many people which is awesome. This was such a good read https://contentcatnip.com/2022/10/23/book-review-islands-of-abandonment-life-in-the-post-human-landscape-by-cal-flynn/
Thanks for the link
